I am orginally from Western Pennsylvania. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. When I moved to Dale City, I started teaching at Bel Air as a Kindergarten Teacher. Then I moved up to Second Grade which is my favorite grade to teach. I received my Master's Degree from George Mason University. I have been teaching at Bel Air for 30 years. I am now having students of students that I had in the past. It is amazing how fast the years have flown by. I have seen a lot of changes in our school especially in the area of Technology. It is very exciting having a Smart Board and Elmo in my classroom to enhance my instruction. Our second grade students take their Unit Tests for the various subject areas on a program called Interactive Achievement which is on the computer. I am looking forward to another exciting year with my new students.
